i really want a tatoo but i want it to be small- medim (smaller is better)and to mean something

first off.a 'small' tattoo is only going to look horrible once u get older. the bigger with the less detail is better. when ur skin changes, weather it be because of losing/gaining weight, pregnancy or age.your skin distorts. it gets saggy & loses its elastisity. (big time!) so u would not want to do the 'smaller is better' thing.because it wo not be what u want it to be in 30-40-50 years...

and if u actually have to sit down & think about what 'inspiration' u want to use for a tattoo then u should really even get one. u get it from personal experiences or life changing experiences.maybe a daughter or a son or a grandmother, mother, father or grandfather. someone/something that has & will have great meaning in ur life for time to come.

as for where once u figure out 'what' u want, then u figure the best placement for the tattoo.sometimes, a tattooist will help u with that..and if u want to put it somewhere he does not think it will fit correctly, he will tell u he thinks it would look better here or there.or whatever.

a tattoo should have meaning or be symbolic for u. u can get inspiration from what u believe in or whatever is symbolic for something u went through or are going through and want a riminder of it. could be for someone in your life or someone who passed that inspired u. could be something in memory for someone who passed away. if smaller is better i would go with something simple because if u try to fit too much into a small tattoo it may look like mush down the road.

Well, my first five were to cover some old scars up. They dont symbolize anything to me, but i like them bc they r art (if u saw them, u'd kow wht i mean). But the rose on my right calf was done for my mom as a birthday gift. Its her fav color, & its really symbolic. I am going to get a ''dirt'' path with paw prints on the top part of my shoulder going to my neck. Both to cover yet more scars but also bc I believe that the path we take in life is always following someone, wheather for their guidence or to be like them. The paw prints r going to be symbolizing my grandparents bc i always say that if i could be half of one percent of the people they were, i would be someone worth knowing, therefore i want to follow in there steps. Also the path is going to be my moms ''controbution'' to it, since she was a really good role model, & then ''fell'' off the trail. she has been stuggling to get back onto it, but she is making it. So thats going to remind me that the only way i can fail is if i give up. They r meaningful to me since they symbolize so much to me. If it means something to you, then 4get wht other ppl say. L8r on, i am going to have a wolfs face put on my back, since not only do i love them, but to me they r strong, & i want to be like that.idk how i got the inspiration for them, but i did, & i like them.Where i get them, depends on my personal prefecerences, & it should be the same for you.you will probably want something that u can show off, but also be able to hide it when neseccary to ''keep up apperances''. That will depend on the size, wht it is, & where u think it will be best for you.best of luck

Just remember some smaller tattoos are harder to read when you get older. The bigger the better. Inspiration can come from anything, a lost loved one, a pet, a fav flower, a national flag, etc. Just find something that means something special to you, and make sure you find a tattooist that has good clientale and go in and look at their portfolios. Doesnt hurt to go in and look at their flashart on the walls either.

a tat is always worth it i think everyone should get one before they die
but im telling you now if you get one and its small later you will wish you had gotten it bigger just wait till you know what you want shop around for prices to get the lowest one and then go for it do it right dont get ripped off.

To get inspiration look within yourself. What has great meaning to you - love, faith, hobbies, family,or ????

When you can answer that question in a single sentence then you have your inspiration.

Why do you want a tattoo? Are you yet another sheep in the trend following herd?

i think that you should get maybe the cross to show something dedicated to jesus.
or maybe even like if you had an' idol like a grandma
who passed away and loved a specific flower.

If you have to ask that question, then you do not need one.
