What do you consider to be a ''bad tattoo''

a bad tatto can be the name of your x boyfriend or husband!if you brake up with them the tatoo will still be here to remember them ,i dont think you will like that!

jail tattoos and homemade tattoos are horrible no matter what.

other than that.it is difficult to have a bad tattoo.unless your tattoo artist completely sucks

''speaking'' as someone who has a tattoo, i would tell u that the only ''Bad'' tattoos r those that r nothing more than the name of a significant other (wife/girlfriend or husband/boyfriend); those ur regret & those that r poorly done.

if u wish to have a ''tribute'' tat done, have either the name or image of a loved one who is ''in-line'' (parent/grandparent or child/grandchild) tattooed on ur arm or shoulder blade. think about the consequences of having ur girlfriend is name tattooed onto ur chest, & u break up six months later, then get together with another girl...so here u r dating ''Sarah'' & the name tattooed on ur chest is ''Julie'' (what will sarah think)

anything that has to do with naked people, uhm, i hate the barbed wire ones...and i dont like when they put their gf is names..hmmmm i like clean tasteful tattoos. I LOVE the ones where they haave a pic of their child put on there..because some people think that wives come and go, girlfriends come and go, but thier child is forever.Like the tattoo on Eminems shoulder of his lil girl. i think a bad tatoo is one that is done poorly.

I think a lot of it is personal preference, but a guiding rule could be, if you cannot show it to your grandma, you should not get it. There is cool,and then there is propriety. Knowing the diffference is key.

I think its more of a personal thing. You either like it or you dont.

Any tattoo that does not symbolize some meaning for the person who has it. I think it is very important to think about why and where you get a tattoo. If it means something to you, great. If it does not mean anything to you, maybe you should skip getting it done. I also do not think it is such a good idea to get tattoos on your face and neck. They are just too hard to conceal if needed.

''Bad tattoos'' to me is when there are too many all over the body and not in a significant area and when the tattoo starts to dull and decolour, it is definite an ugly sight.

im a tattoo freak, i love them, and i think there is no such thing as a bad tat, i mean people express themselves in different ways, so all tats will be different..most of mine are egyptian but i not, i just love the culture

Any tattoo that is made using inferior dyes, dirty needles, and sloppy handwork is a bad tattoo.
As to the images, well, if the image tends to spread out over time it looks bad too.

My brother and my mother had conflict and he refuses to speak to her. He has a skeleton demon dragon full across his back. The legs are pulled together and holding a woman doggy style by her waist. She is tatted with 666 on her arm (in the tat) the face of the woman is our mother.. that is a bad tattoo

i think tatoos are interesting. i do not really like them. i do not like skulls, naked people and gory stuff. i do not like it when women get tatooed on their lower back or on their breasts. it looks really slutty.

I have 10 tattoo is & I am very picky also. There is a real difference between a good tattoo artist & a not so good one. I think anyone is tattoo is fine cuz it is what they wanted, but the way it is done is the key. When the edges r blurry or the colors r not clear of each other, I think they look bad. There is a guy that took his drawings into a tattoo shop & the tattoo guy traced them & tattoo'd them on the guys arms, they look Hideous- The lines were too fine in the picture so they all blended together & looked crooked. The tattoo guy must not have had enough experience to know that the tattoo would turn out bad.

A bad tattoos are generally ones you either got when you were young or ones you got on the cheap, of which i was guilty of both twice in my past.
But i got some money together, covered the rubbish ones over and i'm now very happy with the ones i have.

All tattoos mean something different to everybody. They are personal to each of us and they are not for us to judge. Therefore, the only ''bad'' tattoo would and should be one that the tattoo artist did a poor job on. We are in America, if you like something and it feels right to you, then hey. go for it!

I like just about anything on a tat. but I think a bad tat is when you do not take care of it. faded colors, blurry picture, or and the ''prison'' tats that you see young people with! the ones that you can tell they did themselves at home. YUCK!

Anything that is vulgar.or prejudice...or anything you will regret showing when your older. I have 2 tattoos...one is a rose and the other a tribal butterfly on my lower back.
My son is a tattoo artist and he has done some that even the most diehard would be ashamed to show their grandma.
